What will your students be researching? What are your learning outcomes for this project?: The goal is for the student to understand how to research a peer-reviewed article. The objective is the assigned groups will choose a student success topic e.g., motivation, note-taking, procrastination, time management...etc. The group is to agree on a topic and on one article and before the group leaves they are to email the article to his/hers Alamo email address. In addition, a quick overview on the Occupational Outlook Handbook.
Check all that apply. "Before their library class students will...": be introduced to the assignment., select general areas of research or specific research topics., create a list of keywords to help them define and narrow their search.
Notes (different start/end time, requests, etc.):: I would like to request the following librarians either Eileen or Thomas 8:00 - 9:15 a.m. with the remaining time assigned student groups will work on choosing a topic and an article...emailing the article.
