Recent data highlights a key reason why students pursue higher education: to enhance their career prospects and achieve social mobility. However, are we confident that colleges are fully equipped to meet this expectation? Attend this session to explore strategies for fostering a campus career culture and to learn about the initiatives of the CREO (Career Readiness and Experiential Opportunities) Office in enhancing the career readiness of SAC students.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Attendees will gain data insights related to why students attend college - to include a historical perspective
  2. Attendees will learn about the NACE Career Readiness Competencies
  3. Attendees will learn about the role of experiential learning as a mechanism to help students develop career readiness competencies
