Dive into the proactive world of Strategies of Behavioral Intervention (SOBI) in this professional development session designed for faculty and staff. Explore effective methods for identifying, addressing, and intervening in concerning behaviors to create a safer and more supportive campus environment.

 

Learning Objectives:

1. Develop the ability to identify early signs of concerning behaviors among students, colleagues, or community members on campus.

2. Gain insights into the principles of the SOBI framework, understanding how to apply it to different scenarios and situations.

3. Explore collaborative intervention strategies, emphasizing teamwork and communication to address behavioral concerns effectively.

4. Learn strategies to foster a sense of community and promote positive behaviors, contributing to a proactive approach in preventing potential issues.
