Description :
This is not a required course. Participation is voluntary and optional.
What if, instead of fighting them and getting mad that students are using them against us, AI tools could help you write spot-on alt text for images, turn complex jargon into plain language, or even make your rubrics more inclusive? In this session, we’ll explore how large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT can become your accessibility sidekick—helping you create materials that work better for all students, especially those with disabilities. We’ll swap ideas, try out prompt strategies, and re-think how we build rubrics so accessibility isn’t an afterthought—it’s "baked in" from the start. You’ll leave with practical tips, a few ready-to-use prompts, and maybe even a newfound appreciation for AI as your inclusive-design co-pilot/Teaching Assistant.
