Recent data highlights a key reason why students pursue higher education: to enhance their career prospects and achieve social mobility. However, are we confident that colleges are fully equipped to meet this expectation? Attend this session to explore strategies for fostering a campus career culture and to learn about the initiatives of the CREO (Career Readiness and Experiential Opportunities) Office in enhancing the career readiness of SAC students.
Learning Objectives:
Attendees will gain data insights related to why students attend college - to include a historical perspective
Attendees will learn about the NACE Career Readiness Competencies
Attendees will learn about the role of experiential learning as a mechanism to help students develop career readiness competencies
Attendees will learn how they can help - regardless of their role, as SAC Career Champions
