What general area of research or topics will your students be exploring?:	General library info, how to search multiple databases for a variety of courses
What will your students do or create with the sources they find?:	I would like the students to become familiar with effectively searching for credible resources, including peer reviewed articles. I want the students to become aware of how awesome & accessible our library resources are.
On the day students attend the library class, at what point will they be in their research process?:	general area of research identified; they will need help narrowing and defining a specific research topic
Notes (different start/end time, requests, etc.)::	These are 2 different classes. Start & end times I selected are perfect. The students are brand new to both college life & SAC. As an assignment they will locate peer reviewed articles focusing on "student concerns" as practice. More importantly though, I want them to see just how much the databases & the library cover for all their academic needs.
