What general area of research or topics will your students be exploring?: Students need to research the background of a personal problem. For example, if a student has recently been diagnosed with diabetes, that student would need an overview of the disease. Then they need to research solutions to the problem, ways to cope with the problem if it can't be resolved, or the steps to a solution or coping scheme.
What will your students do or create with the sources they find?: Students will write a problem/solution essay based on a problem they are currently experiencing.
On the day students attend the library class, **at what point will they be** in their research process?: general area of research identified; they will need help narrowing and defining a specific research topic
